    I had this issue.
    Got my watch yesterday. Health app worked in the beginning, but then I updated the watch to latest sw. Then health app on the watch did not start up at all. Just black screen and back to menu.

    My solution:
    When I installed Google Fit on the watch (I also have it on my phone), Samsung health app started working as well…
    Very strange – but it worked and it works today as well.
