In this guide, we will show you the workaround to fix the lag and latency issues in MultiVersus. This cross-over fighting game from Warner Bros has just about made its way but even in such a short span of time, it has managed to grab the attention of the masses. However, at the time of writing, the game is still in the beta stage, so a few bugs and issues are along excepted lines. And that has indeed been the case. Numerous users have voiced their concern that they are facing significant lag and latency issues in MultiVersus. As a result of which, the attacks are not hitting the opponents and the rubber-banding bug is making life difficult for the gamers.

As far as the latter one is concerned, many users have reported that they are suddenly teleported to a completely different region. So without further ado, let’s check it out.

MultiVersus Lag and Latency Issues: How To Fix

MultiVersus lag

In order to resolve this issue, you will have to select a server that maintains an equilibrium between the distance to your location as well as the overall load. A server is pretty close to you but has a high load of traffic or a server far away from you with minimal traffic- both are of no good. So browse through the server list and opt for that one that manages to level the playing field when it comes to the distance and traffic load. Here’s how it could be done:

  1. Launch MultiVersus and click on the settings icon situated at the left menu bar.
  2. Then select Online/Legal and click on the drop-down next to Preferred Server Region.MultiVersus lag
  3. Now select the server that checkmarks both the parameters listed above.
  4. Make sure that the connection status shows the green bar, instead of orange or red.

That’s it. These were the steps to fix the lag and latency issues in MultiVersus. Since the game is currently in the testing phase, even it would have not imagined that so many users would end up trying it. It seems that the servers aren’t able to handle such a large influx of users all of a sudden.

But still, there shouldn’t be any room for complacency and we hope that it gets addressed at the earliest. Talking about which, the developers are aware of this issue, but they haven’t given out any ETA for the rollout of a fix. As and when that happens, we will update this guide accordingly. In the meantime, the aforementioned workarounds are your best bet.
